You Look Like Joyce!

Three times in the last week, I’ve been told I look like Joyce.
First, by Sunday, the front desk clerk at a hotel in Northern Uganda.
Next, by Richard, one of Scott’s Uganda legal collegues.
And lastly, by the checker at the grocery store.
Richard even went so far as to show me a picture of the Joyce in question.
Joyce Meyers is an American Evangelist who’s very popular in East Africa. Evidently, everyone here thinks I look just like her.
Hmmmmm.
I just finished a daily devotional by Joyce Meyers (Promises for your Everyday Life). I love her heart for Jesus and admire your commitment to serving our King in Uganda. The only similarity I see is that you both are committed to Jesus and furthering the Good News - that is the only similarity I find between you and Joyce.
No. You do not look like Joyce. At all. And please, do NOT get any work done like her. Thank you.
